Piano

66 Tickles

As in tickling the ivories. 264 one-bar phrases across the four scale families — major, natural minor, harmonic minor, melodic minor — plus 66 more in a triplet feel. Every phrase plays in all 12 keys, and the keys are generated from theory rather than pitch-shifted, so every one is genuinely correct.

How a phrase is practised

Watch it on a falling-keys keyboard, read it as notation, or see it on a piano-roll grid. Hear it on a real recorded piano or a synth voice, hold the sustain pedal, change the key, slow it down, and repeat it until it is yours. The scales and chords workshop in the same room adds a both-hands mode.

Limits

The triplet phrases show timing-true views rather than engraved sheet music — rounding triplets onto a straight grid would print something you would practise wrongly, so we do not.
